Divisions of Leadership

The River Region United Way is composed of many different divisions of volunteers to insure transparent leadership.  While we do have a small operating staff, all policies and procedures are set and approved by our Board of Directors with guidance from our various committees.  Our Community Council identifies issues and areas that fit our RRUW business model - Education, Health, and Income.  This committee also reviews new partner agency applications and their possible admission into the River Region United Way if funds are available for new agency admission.  Our Budget and Allocations Committee visit each present RRUW partner to determine funding for campaign dollars.  It insures each partner fully complies with the requirements set by United Way Worldwide and RRUW.  The Communications and Marketing Committee determines how the RRUW should be represented and marketed in our five county service area.  Other committees can be formed as directed by the Board of Directors and convened as needed which would include all Campaign related committees to include the  Campaign Committee, Campaign Cabinet and Account Executives.
