Recruits and matches volunteers to meet community needs. Coordinates Christmas Clearinghouse to assist families in need during the holidays. Operates an 8-county 211 dial code one can call for community health and social services information and referral to link callers in need of assistance to the appropriate agency. Publishes the Community Resources Directory and Clubs and Organizations Directory annually.

How To Live United

If you've never given to United Way....try this. Give up one trip a week to your favorite drive-thru window and give that 5 dollars per week to United Way. At the end of a year, that is a $260 gift which can do a lot of good in the hands of United Way's 48 agency partners.

To LIVE UNITED....Give to the causes you believe in, Advocate for them (make some noise!) and Volunteer your time and talents.
